Just give it ten minutes, you only need to not drink right now, just remember nobody ever regretted NOT drinking… :fire: you can get through this feeling without putting poison in your body, it’s only very temporary negative feeling, it’ll pass :heart:

Just having the thoughts or cravings doesnt mean you have to follow thru. How can you be safe? How can you avoid using?

that wave hit me at 20 days too (i’m 33 days now) … i came on here just as you’re doing and i said i was on the verge of relapsing, feelings were so painful, everything so raw and overwhelming … and these fine people came forth with support, just as we’re doing now for you - and i listened to them, because they were saying the same thing i knew in my heart - that i gotta get thru this without drinking.

& i did, and i’m really glad i did for many reasons - one of which is i learned so much about myself and the art of feelings in that moment. i actually grew some. we grow a little every time we push through. and growth feels really good.

choose yourself tonight love :sparkling_heart::dizzy:

Today was one of those for me as well. I didn’t but I wanted to. Emotions were high. I just kept busy and thought about how far I’ve come. 60 days and I can say I’m still counting.

I just looked in the fridge and there’s 3 beers.

Not mine. But I was tempted to drink them all without care.

That would be pretty stupid knowing what happens to me when I drink

It was a small test, but s test none the less.

A test I passed. And you can pass too. Pass that drink to the next sucker. You don’t need that shit. It’s false happiness. Temporary relief - at a cost.

What cost is individual to you. I know the cost of me drinking and it’s not worth it.

Have a great day. Sending my positive energy!!

Just put off that decision until tomorrow morning. You Will have your answer then…. please don’t drink!

Remember all the amazing progress that youve accomplished! 20 days is fantastic. Congrats! Don’t fall victim to those lying rose coloured glasses! You just have to get your head onto a pillow tonight. The hardest part is over, you’ve already gotten through the day. :slight_smile:

Ya know, there’s gonna be days like, there’s gonna be days worse than this. Every time you make it through these days, it makes you that much stronger for the next day you have.

Trust me when I say, this too will pass.

Stay sober, get stronger.
