After being sober almost 90 days I relapsed for the past couple of weeks. Drinking and using cocaine… typically alone. Made an ass out of myself at a party over the weekend cause I was high and still decided to score another bag today. I need advice, encouragement, and support if you have it to give. Day 1 is the hardest but here we are again.
Maybe try ameeting ,meet like minded people might help you ,they helped me stay sober wish you well
First thing you need to do is flush the drugs. Doing more coke after a few days on a bender only worsens the inevitable crash. You can do this. Stay on here and read other’s stories, try to eat something, even a bit of soup or whatever if you can’t stomach actual food. I would get through comedowns/hangovers by eating copious amounts of pizza and chocolates, but everyone’s different and most people can barely keep down water. Speaking of water, it’s your new best friend. You wanna stay hydrated. Some fruit juice might help perk you up as well.
You got this. Day one is always the hardest.
What kind of help with your sobriety have you sought?
I’ll echo what @Amy30 said. Flush the drugs, read around on here and try to rest, eat and hydrate. One minute at a time if you have to. First up, flush the rest and delete the dealers #s. You did it b4, you can do this!
Therapy and na/as meetings
Well, it sucks to relapse, but we can learn from it. What set it in motion? What additional tools can we add to stay sober? You have support in community. Reach out when you are tempted. Someone is always here. Sending strength and peace of mind!
That is good stuff!
