I used suboxone to ease the withdrawals and tapered off over a few months under the care of an addiction doctor. The physical symptoms were gone after 2 weeks but the mental lingered for about 6 months. What kept me going was knowing I never had to go through that hell again.
Keep pushing through. You’re doing great. I’m cheering you on from afar.

Congratulations on 1 week clean!! Getting clean from opioids (well getting clean and sober in general) was truly one of the most freeing things I couldve done for myself. Im glad ur on this path too!!
