Over eaters anonymous, Alan Carr's easy way books

What are people’s experiences with these tools for binge eating? I have already done the steps for aa, would it help to do them again? But I don’t see how amends would work with food. And I know many people swear by Alan Carr’s book for booze, he has some for emotional eating and sugar. Worth a try?

I know that people use Recovery Dharma for process addictions. Possibly SMART too.

I believe @Lionfish also found Thich Nhat Hanh’s book on mindful eating helpful. That’s what I’m going to try, although my priority is to stop smoking first (again ).

So no personal experience to share but maybe some things to think about or look into!
