People in Recovery and Plants! (Part 2)

Done :sunglasses:

Super grateful I found the right people to help me with this project and that the business owner had this idea of how to go about doing it.
The vent setup was my idea. I have no idea if it will work, but it should. No more fooling around with those flimsy windows and having to tie them down/open and close them all the time.

It looks so much nicer, too. Glad I did the gravel - that also looks better but more importantly, a less dusty greenhouse and no weeds growing in.

And been waiting on these ones for a while. None have bloomed for me before. The dyckia (last two photos) is particularly gnarly. That stalk is well over 2ft at this point. Still not 100% sure if they are flowers or seed pods. We’ll know soon…

Great pictures. Mother Nature is amazing to give Cacti so beautiful flowers.

Thanks. Great time of year for these guys. My collection is probably 20% winter growers, 80% spring/summer growers - so mostly everyone is waking up for the season.

Really appreciating my “new” greenhouse too. It’s been a very windy/gusty few days, which would previously be cause for alarm and sometimes panic. The renovated structure has the doors open and everything, and the wind is having 0 effect on it. Stable as can be!

You know you are a gardener when you clean out your purse and find a packet of carrot seeds.

My strawberries have blossoms. I’m so excited. Sobriety teaches you to live in the moment. This moment is an amazing appreciation for Mother Nature.

We are coming up to that time of year when I could do with an extra 3 pairs of hands Ray.
I have started sowing my tatties today in buckets, they can always spend a night or 2 in the greenhouse if we get freezing temperatures.
