The flowers last ages on this thing!

Adding a small bit of light gravel to the wet akadama makes me think of rocky road ice cream :face_savoring_food:

It’s definitely possible, just look up how to care for indoors, might also need a bigger pot for root growth, since it is a tree.

Found a new thrift store (actual thrift store, not my usual antique mall approach) and they had an aisle probably 200’ long that was all just vessels.

Nothing had prices on it so I thought it was going to be rough but I got all 3 for $7 TOTAL. There was way more I could’ve bought too. This place will be a fantastic source for my business.

In the antique mall, the big one alone would probably be $15 - $20 at least!

I drilled a few holes and planted this burro’s tail cluster in it. They grow long and will spill over the edge, a great plant for hanging. I had a larger one hanging outside of my front door, until my local wrens figured out that the leaves make for a nice juicy snack.

Originally for sale, and this is one that would sell high - but I might keep it. We’ll see. I have nowhere adequate to hang it.

I have a burros tail too. Succulents are my downfall so I’ve left it alone in an effort to keep it alive. So far so good. :grimacing::crossed_fingers:t2:

It looks like it’s doing really well! Your intentional neglect is paying off :joy:

Lucky 3

The first flower has held on for like 2+ weeks now, by far the longest of any of my plants. Not just held on, but going strong.

Fucking sick plant, man.

So happy it stopped raining and working on another small raised bed, but there is so much roots under the ground and stuff everywhere but a little by little I’m getting it. I have to get something electric to cut this pretty thick Branch. Then I can go get some more lumber and actually construct the bed

So much possibilities here..

Build a city back here and no one would know!

I don’t even know if this bed is tall enough but I’m basically learning as I go

This will sell easy. It’s small and cute. The people like small and cute.

A few quick ones during a break from work. The pictures aren’t really doing it for me, they look better in person.

Mammillaria mystax

Big fan of the contrasting colors here w purple/green, but it’s missing something. Maybe not. I’ll figure it out. Glad I found this wee green baking dish to put some holes in.

I did not, but where I got it from had a few of them (hoping they are still there when I go back to get them) so they’re either making them themselves or likely know who does. I bought it without a plan for it, but having a few on hand for something like this will be good.

Unfortunately no shipping at all, not even to Phoenix :joy: Wish I could send you one!
