Took Haley for a very short walk after work before yoga. She has been getting neglected in that department because I still get so sad walking her without Fox. But she has gained weight and it doesnāt help her arthritis so I need to put my big girl pants on and walk her. The hubs is suppose to start a walking routine with Bella because they canāt be done at the same time. Bella is a zoomer and Haley is a slow poke

Bettyās doggy cousin, Stormi wormi, had to be euthanized today. 
My sister said he hasnāt been doing well and all the signs were pointing to his organs shutting down. He was an old dog and lived a good, long life. 
He LOVED running around my backyard with Betty and Haley. Now he gets to be with first doggy cousin, Haley, again.

I was coming from my office to the kitchen. Iām glad she is so comfortable to be herself.
Ps- anyone know a good way to get the fur out of the couch? I got a handheld vacuum recently and it didnāt even touch it

I also donāt know how I gave him the nickname Stormi wormi. I was being lame and goofy one day. Heād get so mad. I would be like, āStormi, are you a worm?ā And he would bark at me with that loud, howling beagle bark.

I use a combo of the lint roller and vacuum with the brush attachment. I think depending on the material of the couch determines the difficulty level of getting out the dog hair. I have a cheap Wayfair couch so thatās why the aforementioned method works for me.
Also, I have a designated dog area on the couch. My dog is only allowed on the sectional part of the couch. I donāt even know how I trained them to stay in that area but it just became routine and both my dogs picked up quick on it. I cover that area with some couch covers I got from Amazon or even old blankets my mom gave me. So couch covers might work for your situation as well.

I just got a Chom Chom roller from Amazon. Works great removing cat hair from my furniture

Itās an interesting texture. It is fabric but it is meant to be scratch resistant. Itās like the hair is stuck, like almost woven in. I have a metal brush thing I use for my car and I suppose I could use that on the couch but it would be very time consuming to do the whole thing.
@Shel75 I have the chom chom too. It is a very good tool but takes forever for a large area.
I guess I just need to pick half a day to clean the couch every so often lol

Yeah, when I looked at the picture, it looked like that thicker cross stitch material but I wasnāt sure
Another thing you can do is hire a company like Stanley Steemer to get it professionally cleaned for the one time then just keep up with a weekly maintenance after that. Itās what I did when I lived in my condo and had carpet.
