Thnx for the welcome Rebecca. I too read about this test for couple hours. Im in a situation where I can’t see my son until I pass what appears to be a test that a human being can never pass if they ever had a drink. Biomarkers in blood cells. This is what I’m up against

Yes do what you need to do to abstain. Check out some online Zoom meetings and that might help. Also check out the magnifying glad up on top to do some research on here

Of course! You can do this. If we can, so can you. You’ll be passing that test before you know it. 
I had to google it and it rang a bell I me. I had to pass this to get admitted for my therapy with my local psy. At first I was saying, screw you, i won’t do this. In the end I did and passed. I think it’s when I was some months sober at that time.
PETH is used for lots of situations …like yours, or finding levels if there’s a concern that a person is not being honest to a licensing body. It often is used for quantitative analysis purposes. Can reach back +/- 90 days. Costly as well.
It take about 6 weeks til its all out of your blood. How often you have to take the test?
