I love this Jason. I am fascinated. I love how everybody knows what they need to do. There is no way you could have a ā€œtweedle dumā€ standing around when action needs to occur… Thanks for sharing.

We didn’t get to go boating today but tested out all motors for confidence for our next outing. Beautiful day!

North Florida (Jacksonville)

I really don’t leave a 5 mile radius for the most part. If I’m not working or doing obligations I’m usually riding my bike around Or hanging at the park. All the side streets by my apartment lead to the river and I often go there for sunsets or sunrises and meditate or think

It’s nothing special but I really like where I live. And I’ve been here 20 years except for some brief time in Tucson Arizona for about a year. I’m just now really learning my city. But I’ll definitely do some traveling after I get off probation because right now I can’t leave the county or the state or country.

That’s pretty cool. I really don’t know what to compare it to and also it feels so normal because I’ve been here for so long. A lot of people down south would say that Jacksonville is not basically Florida it’s Georgia or real Florida is farther south But that’s whatever. I guess it’s supposed to be the largest city in the United States land wise because it’s so spread out. I live downtown and it’s pretty cool for being able to get everywhere with the bike and there’s lots of restaurants and parks. Also during football season I go to at least one or two games to see the Jaguars and that’s interesting being able to bike there. There’s also a lot of skate Parks especially Kona which is pretty famous and I think one of the oldest. Skate parks in the United States. Also there is a really good recovery community. So many meetings everywhere. I originally grew up in Pennsylvania but I don’t think I could ever go back up north because it’s too much clouds and I can’t deal with the cold anymore. I love when it’s 90 something degrees lol. Sorry for the ramble like I said because of getting sober I actually appreciate where I live now because I’m not stuck inside my apartment broke And I’m always out exploring

Florida is Florida if you’ve never been there
I’d be happy going anywhere there!!! I had the chance to go visit my aunt one summer, but I was 11 and never flew before, let alone, fly alone. Fear ruined that chance :face_with_diagonal_mouth: I don’t blame you for staying down there. I love 90° days and only see 10 at most a year…but see snow 180! Like this morning, ew :unamused: My city’s alright tho…when it decides to get nice out again.

That’s understandable I’m 36 years old and I’m terrified of the airport and flying even though I’ve done it before can’t imagine if I was 11! It’s definitely always exciting thinking about going somewhere new or what it’s like though. I left Pennsylvania when I was 16 but I definitely remember those long winters. I do miss the snow sometimes but that’s because I was a kid and I had no responsibilities besides hopefully not having to go to school and snowboarding during the winter. I didn’t have to deal with shoveling driveways and driving to work or whatever. The last time I dealt with cold-weather was when I went to Denver Colorado like four years ago and I’ll never go anywhere in the cold ever again. Hopefully the weather gets warmer and better for you soon. I’ll definitely visit the North east again but it’ll be in August! But as far as permanently living if anything I’m going farther S. Like Way south! Past Key West
