Photos of where you live

This is what happens when the dogs run your town! These are just a few on a short walk down highway 101. There are more.

Strolling around the English countryside (Devon)

Gorgeous. Love Devon.
Been there once. Or twice back in my late teens. Always love the British countryside pics. Stayed in Torquay as a home base.
Who’s the handsome puppa?

Ah, nice! Torquay isn’t to far from here, you probably be disappointed with the place nowadays its changed a lot. Little doggo is ‘Freddie’ borrowed from my dad

Really feel drawn to this beautiful little church. Situated in the middle of nowhere and so peaceful.

Famous pointy stick building of Toronto

Casa Loma in Toronto…One day I will take a good pic of it

Wow! I can’t believe how dumb I am  I’ve always known the CN tower is in Toronto. I’ve seen it in person and can see it on the horizon from my parents house. I also know Toronto is an hour away from my city. So I see your picture and think ‘Hey I got a picture of that!’ and find this…

Then think ‘Wait, why does mine look different?!’ Oh, idk  Maybe bc it’s the SKYLON tower in Niagara Falls! (A name I’ve never heard before). For some reason I always thought that was the CN tower, even tho I know I’m not looking at Toronto here :woman_facepalming: I already passed down this misinformation to my daughter. Gotta fix that

Your funny (edit , so, I’ve also called it that my whole life…called my mom, she says “Skylon” is a made up name, is/was to evoke a futurist notion) …my sister lives down in the falls… Motorbike rides take me down there every couple weeks spring to fall…always loved the falls…people watching…the tourists stuff…and the seedy side…so many stories…

Trust you are well

Wait. Wtf?! This is what I get for trusting Google :face_with_raised_eyebrow: And I’m always the first to say ‘don’t believe everything on the internet’

Anyway, yeah. We drive up there a couple times a year too. The city itself is not great (to say the least), but there is tons to do on the border.

I went on a hike with no destination in mind and ended up here. This is the old Coast Guard station. Its a state park now.
