It’s not Tooting but North London is ok as long as you are Arsenal. Here’s hoping.

Definitely my first real tumbleweed. I’ve only ever seen the fur ones my Golden retriever leaves behind before

Blue? Won’t rise to it - we are all friends on here, I grew up around Tooting Broadway.

I went to London in 2007 but I don’t really remember what part or what it’s called! I just know it was really awesome and I brought my skateboard and I rode around all over the city. I remember Hyde Park I think it’s called! And I think my hotel was on King Street possibly? It was a travel lodge. I actually still have the hotel card at my parents house. I also remember something called Picadilly Circus. I don’t know how close all of these places that I went to are from each other because This is like almost 20 years ago. I also remember a two-story Burger King which I thought was weird but cool at the same time and I just remember a lot of cobblestone type ground and everyone wearing this certain hat that I can’t explain but I ended up buying it. Also remember a lot of people asking me for directions or asking me questions but I didn’t know what they were saying to me because of the accent.. Also another fun part was going to all over the corner stores and getting soda type drinks that I never had before and different kinds of candy. I bought a lot of different things during the trip but the only thing that survived is this hat that like I said I can’t explain what it’s called or I don’t know what it’s called I mean.. anyway that’s my rant about London

Ps: Out of everywhere I skateboarded Hyde Park was my favorite because the ground was really smooth and there was lots of runway to do tricks and go back-and-forth and it was kind of strange I had like an audience watching me skateboard

Also one last thing I remember I bought a CD by Kings of Leon called because of the times that was just released around that time in 2007 and I got it at some kind of record store that was a really tall building And possibly red.

So there’s this fitness trail along the canal with all sorts of exercise equipment and diagrams to follow. It’s been there my whole life. This one always makes me laugh

I just really want to see someone replicate that :joy:

Your memories sounds cool! That’s kind of how my memories of being in Orlando Florida are… Random and filled with little details, but also kind of vague and full of textures rather than facts.

You need to come back, we actually have a skate park on the South Bank… It’s very popular and awesome to watch the skaters there do tricks!

….is that just a waist-high wall (more of a fence, isn’t it?) that you’re supposed to “scale”? And by scale, I mean just straddle over it like a baby gate.

That would amuse me, too.

Us short people would be for real scaling that :joy:

I’m definitely going to come back .. I love major cities and I used to be the type of person that liked a bunch of open grass but now I just like cities because it’s fun for skateboarding and riding bikes. after I file for early termination of probation my lawyer says he want to work on sealing my records which I think will help with traveling and getting through customs.. I’m not really too concerned about the misdemeanors but it’s just the felonies and fortunately because of my plea deal when I complete probation I won’t be a convicted felon it will say I was arrested for 2 felonies but not convicted which still doesn’t look good but it’s better.. To be honest traveling is going to be an issue probably for the rest of my life but doesn’t mean I’m not going to try to fill out paperwork or get my record sealed or do whatever I can do. I’m just happy to be alive and turning my life around and worst case scenario at least I have memories of a few places I traveled to If for some reason I can’t leave the United States
