Two new cranes installed. The old ones are coming down. There’s a lot of good things happening around here! Being a sober fisherman is opening good opportunities for me!

Had a long walk around the gaff today. Decided to go old school and actually walk to a high street shopping area to buy stuff rather than pressing a button online. It was suitably nostalgic and pleasing.

It looks so pretty up there, Mitch! :sunrise: Is it cold yet? We’re finally hitting the low 60’s/mid-50’s in Chicago. I don’t mind it but I mind it when I have to take public transit/walk for work. :joy:

It was in the upper 40s/low 50s this evening. There has been a couple of frosty mornings so far, but it’s still pretty warm for late October. Took the dog for a long walk along the breakwater. Tourist season kinda winds down after this weekend and the locals get to take a breath.

Are you dreading winter?

Same here.

It has been warm for October — in the 70’s but it’s finally making a turn. We actually have pretty mild Novembers and Decembers now. January through April are the worst months. Especially February because that’s when we get snow storms and everything freezes over. So it’s super fun!

Us northerners gotta stick together. Hopefully the ice and the wind blow the pesky agents out of your wonderful city.

I didn’t say it — you did. :face_with_hand_over_mouth: But it is truly appreciated! :heart_hands:

Shelters like this, many built in the early 60s were common across Toronto’s ravine system. Some still stand.
