I lived in south croydon for a year and a half back in 78/79. Worked at the Savoy. Heard of it :winking_face_with_tongue:
Honeymoon in 83
London to Landsend.
And many various other trips.
Still have a great friend in East Croydon. She thinks of me as her second son :hugs:

Her son lives in a little village in Sussex.

We stayed in the Amberly Castle in Arundel On one trip. Emily the ghost pushed me down the stairs. Broke my ankle 2 days in on a 2 week holiday there :grimacing: took home a blood clot for a souvenir :joy:

My mum worked and lived in West Ruislip for a bit before she retired. As you can see I love talking about it :joy: keep the pics coming.

She was a music teacher at The West Ruislip Elementary school. I believe that’s what it was. 30 years ago :scream: that’s a long time ago. Seems like yesterday. Unfortunately I never got to visit. That’s another reason I love your pics so much.

No way. Who knows, maybe she taught my boyfriend as he’s now going to be 38, so he’d be only 8 that time ago… I must ask him what school he was visiting and who taught him if he can remember

You’re always welcome to visit

Te Kaha Stadium, Ōtautahi/Christchurch. Aotearoa/New Zealand.

Have yet to go to a rugby game or concert so we went for a tour of the new stadium today.

We were able to see alot of the media rooms, changing/medical and walk out tunnel. Corporate suites which might be the only time im even in one of them, was really cool.

Selling plants at a market this evening. Walking over to where the bathroom is. It’s tucked away in a far corner, down a little bit of an alleyway.

Took a wrong turn.
