simba wants me to journal up today i had a close call last night, i almost broke my sobriety for a split second I forgot about sobertime and my journal and all I had accomplished, the dealer was 10mins away last night but no I resisted temptation to use and went to bed instead. Stay strong my friends all it takes is a split second

A very sad day. I had to say goodbye to my very sweet boy, Guy. He got sick two weeks ago and despite a good fight he couldn’t be saved. I rescued him and his sister from a rundown apartment building. He only lived to be 5.5, but they were great years. To say I am heartbroken is an understatement. But I am feeling that hurt without alcohol. And as the pain lessens, and I know it will, I will have so many happy memories of my special boy. RIP sweet boy, you will be missed always, and remembered with so much love.
