Lazy pup taking a snooze
Is that Milo? OMG. When did he get so big?
And all those spots
close! It’s Lilo she got huge!! And omg tons more spots showing up. She’s been biting my nephew which obviously is not good. Any ideas or tips on how to help train her not to? I feel so bad for my nephew but also know she’s a puppy.
I got the name and the sex wrong.
That sounds about right for me.
Smooch that belly for me and apologize.
No I don’t know. We’re not big on training. They kind of rule around here. But @Its_me_Stella
Stella knows her stuff about training dogs.
Especially the styling sunglasses.
I know my two old men used to run this place too.
Usually a stern no and redirection. They need to be given something suitable to chew on. For every “No” a “Yes”.
Biting ankle “No!”
(Hand toy when puppy takes it)
Happy voice “Yes!”
People usually mistakenly just say no no no no no without teaching what is ok to mouth.
Thank you I will definitely give it a try.
I can’t seem to train them to fill holes though.
I had a Border Collie a long time ago who was a an escape artist under our wooden fence. Each time I’d fill the hole with Quick Crete. That instant cement stuff. That showed him. .
This is only the second time I’ve seen a brown Boston! My friend has a cute light brown one, he is 8 months old!
OMG soooo beautiful
Aww he looks happy! How is he settling in?
He’s a pretty good pup. Minus the desire to roam/escape (which is typical for northern rescues, but risky as we’re rural and there’s neighbouring farms - dogs can get shot even if they just want to “play”) He’s escaped two harnesses. Luckily just to neighbours just got this new Ruffwear harness. Pricey, but recommended to me by other Houdini Dog parents He’s very needy/high maintenance, a bit of anxiety, but sooooo loving. Loves his humans. He’s keeping me in shape
You forgot to mention how handsome the guy is!
