Yes, it’s the artificial one. We often get a real potted one to replant, closer to Christmas.
We needed some Christmas cheer here, so it’s not too early for us!
Quite a few Canadians that I know of put their tree up after Remembrance Day.

Cat’s back. Not mad about the cat. I quite like her. But man, FUCK her owner.
Every time she gets out, he never has any idea that she’s been missing. Also doesn’t seem too bothered by it, the response I always get when I bring her back is an indifferent “oh…thanks”. Almost a bit of an attitude to it, really - like I’m an asshole. There’s actually 4 guys that live there, seem like college kids. All four of them, total greasy-haired fucking boneheads in my interactions with them.
I don’t mind her. She’s friendly and a beautiful cat. I just give her some water, a bit of dog food which she’ll eat readily. I usually sit on the floor for a bit and love on her, she always wants cuddles. But this guy seems totally indifferent towards his pet. Not concerned about the coyotes, hawks, owls, not to mention the cars that regularly and frequently drive by our buildings.
I’m not bringing her back any more. His pet is not my responsibility, as hard as it is. Honestly thought about keeping her, if Chief wasn’t terrified of cats - and she wasn’t fond of him either when they met.
I’m an animal lover through and through, despite cats not being my favorite. Doesn’t matter. This just seems like total negligence to me. It’s incredibly frustrating, especially the guy’s attitude and lack of concern. The fact that he doesn’t even realize she’s missing for days at a time sometimes, it makes me wonder if she gets any attention at all. IDK man. Some people shouldn’t have pets.

Does her tag have contact info? I’m just thinking deviously…Maybe next time take her to the humane society as a stray? Or I know there are no kill shelters there…someone would absolutely adopt that beautiful cat! I know, I know, bad thoughts! I hope nothing happens to the poor baby.

Bummer. It’s a big responsibility for someone like us to take a pet. Because we fucking care!
We once took our neighbors cat to the vet. Because they sucked!! Cats eye was all fucked. We finally asked them if we could have the dang cat. They gave him up in a heartbeat.

I’m just saying.The tag is for a lost pet service. Has a phone number/website and an ID number.
I actually had tried it the 2nd time she showed up, when I knew what the owner looked like but not where he lived. Dead end, lady on the phone said owner never followed through on the registration.
