I mentioned Max in a post above about resemblance (zero), but that was a different thread, so reposting here. Max is a SR rescue pup, unsure of age, he is blind. He was tossed in a large town, no one claimed, so I took him. We think he’s a puppy mill pup that they had no more use for. He wasn’t neutered, didn’t know how to back up, and is good on leash, but doesn’t really want to walk. Sounds like he lived mainly in a cage. He’s very sweet and loved now, shares his bed with Riley.

I adopted Max in May 2021. Riley loved Jake as well (previous pic of black lab mix), I knew when Riley was rescued at around 1 year-ish, she must have lived with a dog, she immediately ran in the house and started rubbing against him. I call her my little puppy. So when Max came home, she was fine as well, and now she’s super happy she has a sleeping bud, Jake would usually move when she tried to curl up.

Yes they did. Riley missed Jake a lot after he passed, she was sad, and Max came in pretty indifferent to her, not sure if he was ever around cats, but just seemed happy to have a home which included her.

She’s got this gnarly elbow hygroma or pressure sore going on. It’s to prevent her from licking. And she’s got another one to take the pressure off.
