Post photos of your pets #4

I have that! Works well! It has mellowed out my crazy cat to an extent.

This old photo showed up in my FB memories. Lupe was a scrawny girl and Chucho. Golly, I miss that kid so much. I had to shed a few tears. It’s officially been a year and a half since he died. He was such a good boy and a huge reason for my recovery. :heartpulse:

Do you use his harness with a strap for a seatbelt? I was looking at different ones today on Amazon for Max, and wasn’t sure what to get.

Nah thats just his harness for his leash lol but id be lying if i said i didnt think about a doggy seatbelt but he likes to move around the car too much

I’ve had Max sit on the front seat, and he’s pretty good, but one day I was driving and he started to slide slowly in between the seat and door, I had to pull over and fix him, lol.

Aww poor Max

@Cjp @maxwell After traveling cross country with two energetic big dogs and having one jump out the window at a rest stop :scream: then also having to break hard and they go flying, I now always attach Lupe’s harness with a makeshift attachment, just a med nylon rope with two clips from the hardware store on each end and I clip it to the handle on her harness and then to the baby seat hook in the back seat. She has enough length to move around to look out each side window and she can’t climb in the front. I had someone pull out in front of me and the rope attached to her harness kept her safe or she would have shot into the floor board. I feel much safer this way. It’s so dangerous for animals to be loose in vehicles. Just my thoughts!

Thanks, Max isn’t loose, he sits on the seat with a collar/leash tied to the little hanger thing. He doesn’t walk around, I’m looking for something more secure so he doesn’t slide. I’m trying to find a harness that attaches to the seat so he can stand or sit. Amazon has tons, but they all seem to be from China and I’m trying to find a good one.

Nice! Great plan! I tried that route also but like you had trouble finding something suitable that wasn’t going to be garbage when it arrived. Definitely have gotten burned by impulsive Amazon purchases in my past. Good luck.

Baby girl is such an old girl now, she doesn’t like when we stay up late! She follows us around with this look on her face like “um, guys? It’s way past our bedtime.” So, TV in bed it is so she can get her beauty sleep.

I always make sure it has a free return policy. We don’t do car rides very often since he’s blind. Mainly to the vet. But if I had something secure I may take him if I’m picking up food thru a drive thru see if he enjoys it where we just are in the car together.

That sounds like a sweet prospect! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
