Phoebe does not acknowledge me when dad is home unless food is involved. Dad is home this morning BUT since we have a new cat she has decided to become a lap dog to me also

Now that you mention it… yes lol we put her on steriods for a bit, she started feeling better and at first started nipping me. Then her appetite becamr insatiable and she went from nipping me to dang near attcking me when i would kiss my husband ( when he had a plate of food mind you) i legit had to put her on the floor and sit next to him while he ate to claim ownership
Iwas telling the vet about our love hate relationship and about her first mom and the vet popped off phoebe is probably thinking ( lafy i already ran off one wife dont push it )
Needless to say we stopped the steriod and will be seeing the vet again for different pain management.
She is very loving to me with the addition of the cat though

J.C. Bella, born December 17, 2021 in Saskatchewan Canada. Brought to me to nurse back to health after being born in a snow storm and having frozen to the ground. I could not save her ears or her tail but I did save her legs. She grew up in my kitchen until I broke my leg in May, then went to a family pasture where I can visit her. She is my pet forever now, never letting her go.

I have been taking home kittens from the shelter that need a little TLC. This one was a little spicy I know she just needs to be handled more. She is leaning more towards sweet than spicy now lol. She loves to be wrapped up into a little purritto!

My dog
Riggs!
He was a shelter find in 2012 he was about 1.5yrs old. From 4-3-12 (gotcha day) to 6-30-13 he & i worked very hard for Riggs to be a licensed Therapy Dog. He has his Canine Good Citizen Certificate from the AKC Club and his Therapy license.
Riggs and I are riding together this year for The Great Cycle Challenge for kids cancer. This will be year #3. In the 3 years we have rode together we have rode 874 miles & raise 1,730$ to date(9-11-2022) We have rode 66 miles so far this year.

The addition of the cat is really affecting phoebe. Dad is home this morning and phoebe is CHOOSING to be my lap dog. Lol 
she was on my lap for a good 30 minutes loving on me to keep me from perring calypso. Her jealousy knows no shame. She hasnt even said good morning to dad yet.
Edited to say there are no treats in my hand. Shes a licker. Lol she will hold your hand down and lick your skin off if you let her.
