I love this so much
Omg I love them
Sooo sweet
This little mutt makes me so happy. Super grateful for animal companions. This is how he is Snoozin on the bed right now.
Did their father choose the sweaters by chance???
Ya I did
Had to break out the parkas today since it was only 18 F usually we wait for it to get above freezing; but, that isn’t gonna happen today.
We never miss a walk.
@Pica
Did you move back to the cold? I’ve been gone too long
I never know where I am or where I’m going to turn up either. it’s a covert ops.
Started with a scratchy throat about a week ago. Began the day after an endoscopy, so I figured that maybe that pissed off my sinuses/throat a bit. Alka-Seltzer nukes for a few days, negative covid test on…Friday, I think.
Well, I really started getting fucked yesterday. 8/11 covid symptoms listed by CDC. Awful coughing fits, chills, body aches, fatigue, sinus pressure, fever, etc. Slept from 2pm yesterday to 6 this morning, then after forcing some food, slept 730 to noon.
Called out of work even though I work from home. That bad. I’m out of covid tests but will go find one tomorrow if I can force myself out for one. I never, ever get sick. Grateful for that. Figure I picked it up at the Drs office or plant work but one can only speculate.
Anyhow, its the pet thread, and Dr Chief is keeping an eye on me and helping me nap.
Are you sure you just didn’t forget to feed him
Sorry your illin. I hope you recover soon whatever you got.
Nah he got the kibble and cottage cheese special, his favorite
Feel better soon! Wish I could send you a lovely crocheted blanket to cuddled under. They really help.
Those eyes! Beautiful.
Feel better soon. I know Dr. Chief will take care of you but those Covid symptoms are a bitch!
Fluids, fluids and more fluids!!
Leaving for the gym this morning and saw this guy milling about in the parking lot, barking. Sad, but strays and animal abandonment are unfortunately common here. The local animal shelter is actually paying people $100 to adopt. I went along my way.
I said to myself if he was still there when I got back, I’d try to catch him. That’s what happened. Lured him with food and boy is he a friendly one (although pretty unbridled and wild). Can tell he’s really anxious.
I’m actually pretty sure he belongs to someone I’ve seen that lives here. He was hanging around the gate I usually see them use. Not sure their name or what building, so I’ll bring him to the office when they open in an hour. He did piss and vomit on my carpet, but whatever. Worth it if I can get him back to his family.
Chief isn’t thrilled about his temporary friend
For his safety, I’m not leaving them alone out of my sight. He’s much bigger and “intact”, so you never know.
I’ll keep ya’ll up to date.
Update
It was diarrhea, not vomit. Twice.
I had to watch him like a hawk the whole time. Not trained well at all. Sweet but wild.
Leasing office finally opened, brought him over there and they took him off my hands. They’re going to send an email out to find his owner. Left my number, hopefully find out what happens. A thank you from the owner would be nice too. Maybe some help cleaning my carpet, but whatever if not.
I just hope someone would do the same for me if Chief went missing.
Speaking of Chief - jealousy city. He also doesn’t like big dogs trying to dominate him. He was quick to tell the big fella to piss off. Big guy was afraid of Chief by the end!
