Thank you for taking care of this guy! What a cutie. We got both our dogs as strays and people do dump their animals frequently, but I do hope he has a home to go to. I’m sure Chief will get over his jealousy!

I’m glad I did it. He was a tough one to handle, even just for a few hours. I wouldn’t have been able to keep him myself, not a chance. Hopefully he gets back to his family.

Hasn’t been claimed yet, so the office is calling the animal shelter (its a no-kill).
Maybe he was a stray. Idk. But anywhere is better than the wild for him.
I really hope I cleaned the carpet well enough. Don’t want Chief picking up possible disease. It was fucking gross.
Either way, that dog got an adventure today and is now safer.
Took Chief out for nice things after work since he was so patient with his new aquaintance’s exuberance and all the wildness today.

Introducing Lady!
A true gift of sobriety being able to bring this sweet girl home with us. Drove over two and a half hours from Southern NH to CT to pick her up last night from the rescue transport. She has been awesome. 5 months old and going to bring loads of joy into our lives. It is a real blessing being able to make decisions out of inspiration and not just desperation anymore. I am a grateful new dogo dad 
Also any ideas on the Breed? The rescue said a Basenji mix but I don’t really believe it haha

Aww welcome Lady! She has Basenji ears. You’ll know if she barks or not. One of the greatest dogs I knew was a Basenji.

Maybe not full Basenji then. They bark rarely and odd little yodels. The Basenji I knew was a rescue pup too and one of the very best. Yours looks like a keeper!

I don’t understand why people don’t like there dogs sleeping with them. My Roxy (my chunky) kicks me, takes the whole bed and I still want her with me
