Hi Sober Fam, I’d like you to meet my new SR pup, Buddy. He’s 10 and was relinquished to the rescue due to his owner being ill and unable to care for him. He’s a sweetheart, likes walks, is my constant shadow, and has his sight. It took Riley 4 days to continuously try and inch closer, she made it. Then he moved 5 seconds later.

Thanks Eric! So far, so good. He’s been with me for 1 week. He is a neutered boy, yet still marks a lot instead of peeing. (Mostly outside). I adopted a 10 year old large breed many years ago, he was neutered and did the same thing on walks. I know he was always in his backyard, not walks, so I’m not sure if that has something to do with it. He kept escaping so after the 5th time they brought him to a rescue. He sat there for 6 months before I found/adopted, his owners clearly didn’t care. He was awesome, lived to 15.5.
Max marked all the time and as soon as he was neutered, stopped.
It’s not a big deal, but we’re about ready to get a huge storm/cold snap, should be fun. I had to carry him home the other day when it was pretty cold, starting lifting his paws on the way home. What’s coming will make that look like a summer day, lol.

Ya they do love their walks. I think they live for them. We never miss a day over here. My Max taught Minnie how to mark like a boy 
it’s pretty funny. She still does it at 16 sometimes.

He was an ugly cus. This family down the street had an awful family tragedy and we prayed and prayed how to help them. We ended up with their dog. Because they just couldn’t take care of him after what happened to them.
So…… according to my dog names and continuing this trend. Your next dog should be named George. I just want to get that on the record.

Got my girl out just in time before it got really bad out. 3 deg F with a windchill of -15, the snow had that satisfying crunch. It’s straight up blizzard conditions now, a half hour later!
