I wish I had more recent photos of nature on my phone, but this one will do today. Saw this tiny guy out at the lake some years back.

Bye for now…

A hawk spotted on today’s hike. Saw it take off out of the corner of my eye and only got a single quick pic before it was gone.

I’m still infatuated by the colors and textures in ice.

I LOVE nature! A force that cannot be reckon with and a will to thrive in any conditions.

Wow! This is amazing! Where in the world is this? Seems like there has been an ongoing battle for awhile.

I’m not sure where it is. I’ve had the pic for a long time. I tried looking it up and found it on Pinterest but there was no location info for it. There were a bunch of similar pics as well https://www.pinterest.com/pin/455637687270800741/

It wasn’t picture postcard pretty today due to the heavy cloud cover, but any time appreciating Nature is a good day well spent!!

Sometimes when you’re driving you see things and you just gotta stop and capture the moment :slightly_smiling_face:

Encountered several woodpeckers on my hike in the woods today! Thought I’d share a couple.

A hairy woodpecker (or possibly a downy).

A pileated woodpecker.

A relevant description of woodpeckers

The beauty of the North, lots and lots of snow. The negative side, its winter for like 7 months of the year and I hate it

Summers are worth it though. :sunny: just wish they lasted longer.
