Pretty sure it was Maui. Because we did Oahu first. And I think this was the last outing of our trip. Not such a funny story : but ; my wife and I are crying watching these beautiful once in a lifetime whales show off and just before we got on the boat we got a call from our vet that our sic old dog had taken a turn for the worse and they wanted permission to do some treatment on him. Talk about a fuckin emotional roller coaster that day :sob::cry::smile: we’re going ooh ahh and then balling our eyes out cuz we just want to get home to the dog.
BTW he made it another year on prednisone.
And to continue the dog Hawaii coincidence; when Buddy quit eating and we tried everything as one does and we found something he liked after cooking chicken and rice and burgers etc. for him. Hawaiian Bread!!! I kid you not. He ate Hawaiian Bread for about a week and then continued on regular food.
Give Moose a smooch.

More zoo shots. I prefer to shoot nature in nature, but I live on the wrong continent for most of these. Im inspired to go otter hunting when I get home.

Hi Moose
Here’s an old pic of Buddy. RIP. He was actually the ugliest dog ever. He looks cute in this. He had a Mohawk if you look closely, and it really stood out if he was facing you and of course the humidity in Texas didn’t help. And you can barely see his underbite. He had this underbite that I’ve never seen before in a dog. No body wanted him so we took him after his family suffered a very tragic loss. We prayed to God about how we could help this family. We ended up with their dog.

He didn’t play well with others either.

Do u mind me asking where you live? Maybe you’ve mentioned it but I can’t remember. I grew up in Dracut. Lowell area. Life is like a bowl of cherries and Lowell’s the pits. No one use to know where Dracut was. It’s gotten bigger now. Like every place I imagine. After high school I got the hell out. Never looked back.
Went to Austin, Texas via London, for a little over a year. Not a direct route.

We got some bald eagles around here seasonally. So fricken cool. I think I liked one of my bald eagle pics. Shot with my trusty iPhone 11pro Max :joy:
Got some beautiful blue herons around and some cool hawks.

And this guy waiting for me at home after my walk. Funny looking squirrels here in Flag. They are everywhere chasing each other round and round the ponderosa pines. Too funny. And they are not too scared of me.
