Bird nests are so conspicuous in winter, beautiful but somewhat sad as they are like abandoned houses in an empty neighborhood… Spring is few weeks away, looking forward to these being happy homes again.

A buddy of mine took this.

Sat by the side of Otter Creek today doing a mindfulness meditation. Was visited by a pileated woodpecker then by a beaver. Thankfully I had my camera.

Does the beaver live there? They are fascinating creatures.

Yes, it lives there as there is a stick/branch structure across the Creek nearby. You can see where the water is smooth upstream then gets rippled after is crosses over their home. Since they built it there now is a peaceful trickle sound of the water passing over it.

Scenes from Flagstaff

Headed out of the hood after a little dusting of snow last night.

Going to the chiropractor. There’s worse traffic most anywhere else I reckon.

Really is a great place to have to be holed up for a year. I’m pretty grateful about that :heart:

Ya it is. And it’s not too big but not too small either. Great place to be stuck in during a pandemic. Only been living here a couple of years. Could use a few more nice restaurants though.

Came across these and had to share. They are from a series by a 20 year old photographer who plays with sunsets to tell beautiful stories.

Oh man. I’m jealous. God’s just showing off there. I’d walk that every morning.
Nice pic.

How’s the real estate up there? Are you near Victoria?
We were going to visit Victoria before all this pandemic hit. It sounds like a nice place.

Well that doesn’t suck.
It would be so nice to see that each morning.
I’ve often thought I’d like to live in Hawaii been there twice. It’s so beautiful.
