So beautiful Jana.

Thank you @pinkcloud (very much like your nickname!).
I love photographying but I’m not a professional. And these were taken by phone

I spend a lot of time driving for my job and I run across a lot of wildlife. Here’s one.

Back working on the 500 year old house yesterday and I spotted this little fella on a door, moving around like a dodgem car, eventually tucking itself into a corner of the frame. Never seen a ladybird this colour before!

Very interesting. I’ve never seen one here. I went digging…
It’s called a Twice-stabbed lady beetle.

Thanks for looking it up Scott - I’ve been distracted looking up the tomb of Lars Porsena as described by Marcus Varro, nearly as impressive as the lady beetle!

Definitely impressive as well. I’ll be sure and check it out once I perfect my time machine.

Remember this tree?

I got a different perspective on this tree today. I took a different route. From this angle it looks like the beauty is in the middle waiting to come out. Like us. It’s funny when you look at things with different eyes. Same tree different message.
That’s my tree philosophy for the day.

I love that @Dazercat!! And what a great message it brings! Similarly, I was listening to an audiobook and the author was talking about recovery being compared to a scene from a Harry Potter book(which admittedly I have read none of) where he only sees the light from the path he has already taken. It lights up after he has traveled it and it was compared to sobriety where we see its gifts after we have traveled through it. We can look back and realize where sobriety has impacted our lives. I thought that was a great analogy and I can definitely relate. It is so tough but each day I can look back and go, yup, what a difference a sober day makes.

Waterfalls are my jam… those negative ions make me feel so light of spirit.

Looks like a magickal spot to be at and clear your mind, nothing but the sound of flowing water

there were a couple whales breeching on the way in yesterday. I grabbed my camera and then they stopped. Thats usually how it goes with whales. They are camera shy. I got lucky and got a shot.
