Very cool!
Hey Eric, have you ever explored Walnut Canyon? We checked out Meteor Crater one day after a trip to the Grand Canyon. On the way back we saw the sign for Walnut Canyon and decided to stop and check it out. The cliff dwellings were incredible. So glad we stopped.
Yes I have have. Pretty cool. Not far from me at all.
Embarrassed to say we still haven’t been to the Grand Canyon . But we didn’t move here til just before COVID. We’ll get there. But I have seen it before. Meteor Crater is far from me either I think Maybe we’ll check it out when the weather cools off.
My absolute fave.
Oh that’s amazing!
I love it
I’m thinking a nice tea
I lived in Tucson for 10 years and only visited the Canyon once. We spent the night in Flagstaff then rode the Grand Canyon Railway to the canyon. It was a little cheesy but fun. The crater is just that, a crater. Not much to do but worth seeing as there aren’t very many of them on earth to see.

That’s amazing . do you have a guide person showing you where to walk or do you follow a map?
Map and trail book. I spend a lot of time up there too. Trails are rough but it’s a ton of fun
I walk this trail every day. And I’ve never seen it like this.
Everything just popped all of a sudden. I guess it’s because we had a wet monsoon season. Last year it was nonsoon.
The Showy Goldeneye are everywhere.
And I got 1 peach Day Lilly showing off at home. I hope the others come out before the frosts hit.
This is the most brilliant chat on here, thanks whoever started it… Love it guys!!
You got some nice shots there Margaret. Especially those blue and purple berry things there.
Thanks! I couldn’t help but take a photo of those as they looked like tiny Easter eggs.
