I went on an extraordinary walk today… it was magical.
Qualicum Beach, BC
Stilted roots…western hemlock seedlings growing off a decaying stump. The “nurse” stump will eventually breakdown completely leaving an elevated root form.
I thought this tree looked like snake skin…
And I saw a very large cat’s scratching post…
My spirit is full.
