Letchworth park today. It’s been raining a lot and the water levels were pretty high! Same river we whitewater rafted about a month ago.

Silly thought maybe…but If I’m ever reincarnated I believe I’d like
to spend a life as a bird like this one. Just imagine being able to fly off to who knows where any time you wish. Spotted this eagle in the tallest tree near to where I work today.

I spotted one for the first time yesterday! They’re not here in the San Juan’s all year round, but once it gets cold enough, here they come! I’ll post a picture later. This is a great capture!

@JB.5280 I got this with my camera, so I was nowhere near this close to him. I did have to walk a ways towards him, so I’m glad he didn’t get spooked. It’s not edited and there’s some chromatic aberration, but oh well. I think eagles are beautiful.

Wow! That is such a great photo! I love how clear it is! Thank you for sharing with us all. I will take my camera with me next week in case I get another chance for a photo. My cell phone can’t grab such nice shots. What camera are you using?
