Lots of Rainbow Lorikeets around my place.

This handsome fella was in one of the down pipes to the water tank after a particularly fierce rain event. The mesh filter had been forced off with the water pressure. Before I put it back in place I managed to rescue this guy.

I was thinking about a little walk along the road in the Hill Country (TX) April 1st 2017. So nice.

These 2 pictures were taken 20 minutes apart, about 2 hours before sunset. This was taken during our annual camping trip in the Cascade mountains. There was a forest fire on the other side of the ridge making its way towards us. The camp grounds were evacuated the next morning.

Got lucky and the clouds cleared a bit. What a gorgeous day for eagle :eagle: spotting on the Wisconsin/Iowa area of the Mississippi River!
