London parrots!
Oh fab, are they the parakeets? They hang out around my daughter’s school. So noisy! Beautiful colours though
Yes they are, we have tonnes fly over every morning and evening. They are incredible… Very very bossy and noisy. I’ve had them on my hands eating an apple as well. These are in Kensington park gardens.
Oh wow! They stay in the trees here like a bunch of chatterboxes gossiping about the world below. Can’t imagine them on my hand, amazing!
The sunset was beautiful tonight. I didn’t even capture the best parts. (No filter & ignore my cracked windshield lol)
Nice sunset. I have a cracked windshield too
Found this young pup down at a popular swimming beach recently.
*sorry had to delete previous pic as I realised it had my full name watermark on it.
Cotton candy sky…
Was so pretty I wish I could upload videos…
Walked with my son this morning and he made a lovely picture of this “Pimpelmeesje” (Blue Tit).
He has a proffesional camera, so his pictures are much better then mine
Mt. Sneffels was named after the volcano Snæfell, which is located on the tip of the Snæfellsnes peninsula in Iceland. It’s 14,158 ft. tall, the highest point in Ouray County, and the tallest mountain I’ve ever climbed.
Nice! I watched your vid for the mavic3 track test also. What a cool way to see the boat out on the ocean like that! I was worried for a bit thinking you were going to lose it. Awesome how the drone was just hovering waiting for you to come rescue it. You are brave testing it out like that! I have not had a chance to try the mini 2 yet. Schedule and weather here have been getting in the way. I’m hoping this week to get it in the air. I did get a full set of ND filters for the mini. Are you using filters and/or doing color grading or is the camera just that good?
Great pic there. That mountain looks so epic in the winter!
Snowshoe today, that’s Tahoma or Mt Rainier. (I wasn’t trying to reply to a specific person, but I can’t change it)
No color grading. I did boost the saturation a little on the light house clip at the end. I didnt use active track on that either. They released the drone without it. That lighthouse film was my first flight before DJI had released any firmware updates.
I used a no.4 neutral density filter. I use it most of the time.
I need to get a polarized filter. I use them most of the time on my Canon. Mainly to cut some of the glare off the water in case a whale ever lets me film it.
I use a no 32 when I shoot long exposures.
Onshore I end up flying over the water 99 percent of the time. I’ve become pretty comfortable over the water.
My previous flight from the boat scared me.
This time I waited until we were headed home so I could land it safely when the boat wasn’t moving. It was a nice day, no wind. We had an extra hand on the boat who could cover for me while I flew the drone. I suspect a glitch in the active track caused it to become unresponsive. I fly in this area frequently from shore. It’s my favorite close to home area.
I’ve been getting good at using the active track onshore on stationary objects. It’s a game changer. Cinematic filming is easy with the active track. I never used it with my other drones. I kind of felt like it was cheating, and my opportunities to fly were limited. I didn’t want to invest the time to learn it. I’d just take off and start shooting. One minor error or a slip with the joystick and the cinematic feel is lost. I have many flights with tiny errors mixed in the footage.
In my desire to grow my YouTube channel, I click baited the title a little. The Mavic3 is a hot topic right now. I may start doing reviews and tips and tricks on Go-Pros and Insta360 cameras to add to my channel. There are quite a few successful channels that do this. I need 665 more subscribers to monetize my channel.
I’ve been experimenting with YouTube shorts too. That experiment is working. This summer with my filming freedom of being self-employed with improve my channel.
This short I uploaded the other day is my most successful YouTube video so far.

The internet… You gotta love it! I’ve become a slave to algorithms. I’m having sober fun with it! Thats all that really matters.
I was up late editing videos and I fell asleep and missed a good sunset tonight. This is from a few days ago
It was windy. I wish I would have made it back there tonight.
I havent edited the video footage yet.
Ya I was thinking your plan was to follow the boat all the way in and land it at the dock. You almost made it! Glad you saved the drone!
I have been watching a lot of YouTube channels on drones and I get a lot out of them. I feel like product reviews, tips and tricks, and your video content would bring in lots of subscribers to your channel real quick. Keep up the great work and thanks for your response. Once I get in the air I’ll be bugging you with more questions and hopefully sharing some footage of my own!
Bye for now…
Looking forward to it!
