Besides eating cake, this afternoon I went to read a book next to the sea! 
When I saw that turquoise color I just wanted to hop in, but we currently have 13-14 C, and the water has much less, so that would have been a bit chilly! At least for me… some people hop in all year round.

Oh yes. We have a big boar and a sow that usually have cubs every year behind our place. They are black bear not grizzly, the grizzly bear are further up Island and they can stay there!!!
We have the highest concentration of mountain lion in the whole province living on this Island. They are not to be messed with.

I’ve been researching underwater drones.
I watched a review that was stressing how easy it is to damage the battery on this drone. A replacement/spare battery is 650 dollars for this drone.
Your post helped me understand the difference in battery builds.

Oh, man… Underwater drones are cool but I’d rather use someone else’s. LoL. Any kind of water and electronics don’t mix well, but add in salt water and its even more destructive.
What about some of those little cameras they trail off fishing lines to record the actual chase and strike off the fish? Could you get a couple of those cheaper things to just see how it goes? I mean, light disappears real fast in water so you are probably only going to be going down 100 feet or so anyway. Losing one of those would hurt less than a full on drone.
BUT… If you do get one, hell yeah i wanna see the footage!

Look what Amazon delivered today.
I have rigged a GoPro to a jig before with good results. Current slave master did not approve. So, I haven’t done it since.
This recently caught my attention. I’m really excited to use it salmon and tuna fishing this summer.
We got into an argument a couple weeks ago. In the heat of the argument he told me I couldn’t film anymore. I told him I’m tired of having a boss.
A few more weeks and my crabbing commitment will be finished. No more boss.
I plan to film us stacking out. Until then I’m being low key.
I got a gimbal for my phone. I’ll be filming low key.
We are doing a cod trip tomorrow. I’ll be on wheel watch. I’m bringing the drone. My pontoons came today too I’ll fly while he naps while I’m on wheel watch. Hopefully some whales are around.
I’ve had my eye on the submarine drone for a while. It’s on a tether. I don’t really need all the gadgets. Just a decent camera.
I’m going to wait until my boat is fishing to decide if I’m going to buy it.
This one comes without all the cool gadgets. It has a good camera, and I can mount a Go-Pro or Insta360 camera to it.
Scuba gear and spearfishing is also something I’ve talked about doing for a long time. Time to quit talking and start doing!

This was my first flight with the Mavic3. The photos are all basic editing.
I managed to finish a few videos on this weather break. I just uploaded this.
The weather looks nice. I have a lot of photos and video footage I’m excited about. The ocean calls. I will finish and share as I can.
I saw a couple turkey vultures the other day. Its spring! Flowers will be popping the Osprey will return.
