The dogs were barking at nothing again. Again. Looks like I was wrong. He walked up onto the tee box right past the bunnies. I thought the worst for one of those bunnies. So I had time to grab my cannon. I got it sitting out. I only got to snap one as he was coming out on the cart path.

I got to start reading up on the Sonoran Desert. It’s truly amazing.

Thanks for the tips.

He walk right by the bunnies. I mean they took off. But he must not of been hungry. I wonder if this is his territory. I love the striped left front leg. Same as the guy we saw last week I think going the other direction.

It could be. It might be fun to get a game camera and set it up near the Tee box and see what goes on at night.

He looks pretty casual in that photo.

If you want a deterrent, soak strips of sheets in ammonia and set around, can be hidden. The bobcat “might” think a bigger cat is around. Once upon a time I had one hang around for weeks, lounging on the porches, things like that.
The ammonia seemed to work.
They are beautiful creatures and your photos are great.

The first photo is pretty close to the house I’m staying at. I think I’m going to clean this area up a little bit and this will be a cool spot to read or pray. I’d like to find places for meditation. And even if I move … I always know where they’re at and can go back. I have many places in Saint Augustine and Jacksonville. Like meditation spots .But I’m going to find some cool places in Fernandina

This now empty stream inspired me today because it reminds me that just because something may feel empty, all the makings are there in my choices to create something wonderful.

I spotted this little hog in the middle of one of our client’s fields this morning at 8. It was still there at 4 so I tried to get it to drink some water but no luck. One of the people who works for the client called a local sanctuary and they’ve picked it up. Fingers crossed.
