Trumpet or hedgehog cactus.
The flowers generally only last 24 hours :cry: :point_up:
Scarlet hedgehog cactus. The flowers last longer on these.

Another beach today, kids school holidays are coming to an end. Was super windy beachside though but we’re lucly to have a protected inlet on the other side of the road. Love watching all the boats and imagining I’m on one of them

Nudge nudge, hint hint… I get it! :rofl: The official name is Asphodelus aestivus… sounds interesting, doesn’t it?! I’m not an expert. Someone told me once they are some kind of wild orchids. Those cacti look beautiful!

Today my job site was a little above 10,600 ft. This place has a great view across the valley to Mt Elbert, Colorado’s highest peak. Days like today make me appreciate the work I do and that I get to go be in some beautiful spots. Mother Nature is badass. 260 days no booze.
