No. I was driving and it was dark. I thought it was a plastic bag at first, until we went past it  I wasn’t too keen on getting close to it, even in a car!

I love nature’s oddities. Tbh, I’ve never actually heard the term leucism before. I saw a deer a few years ago that I now think had that bc it wasn’t white enough to be albino.

In my area, melanism is increasingly prevalent in grey squirrels. I’d see a black squirrel once in a blue moon growing up, but now I see several a day.

That’s so cool! My daughter’s father has that with cats. Random cats always come to him or start following him. It’s weird :upside_down_face:

Day 187

I have a white rooster now. Heard him yesterday and thought I was insane. Maybe it’s a mockingbird? This morning on walk: Cocka Doodle Do!!! Nope, rooster for sure. But chickens aren’t allowed…what is it doing in my backyard? What do I do with it? It likes my yard. Not a good pic but it’s a little shy. Should I feed him? Thinking  What say you?

Started my daily outdoor walk today, and it was emotional because I miss it so much. I’m pretty intolerant of the heat, and the mornings have turned nice at last. I watch wildlife and chat with many dog walkers. I spy on pretty yards to get more ideas for xeriscape, which is new to me always living in humid places. I need the outdoors badly, every day. I’m not fit but not out of shape either. Good baseline. We have several pools to use so that’s next. I want to start by simply forming the daily outdoor habit. Just did 30 minutes this morning at a quick pace. Can do weights and some cardio indoors.

It’s a beautiful drizzly day and I am going to look for Senor :rooster: I have bird seed. I now want to help him.

Thank you Seb.

I’ve actually never shot a butterfly before. He kept moving around. Working I guess.

From yesterday’s ride. Including accident. I am glad nothing happened. I had some angels with me. Only feel some muscle pain and I think the car driver was more shocked than me. These damn cyclists.

Physically it’s okay. I feel insecure and emotionally in the traffic today. Easily overwhelmed by too many metal boxes rolling around. :expressionless:
