Never seen them before. Of course I am not familiar with the flora around you. Common or botanical name? They are gorgeous.

They are hellebores. Some folks call them Lenten Roses. I always think of them as magic flowers that bloom in the dead of winter.

Finally! Now it is just cold and gray. These lovelies are hellebores - the only thing brightening up my yard these days!

Lovely! I have only seen the green ones yet. One of the first to flower in the year. I know they are toxic if ingested, cows know to stay away from them.
I couldn’t locate my own pic but here is a link of the one I am familiar with.
