I need to come visit. I love the beach and my husband hates it. It’s been cold and rainy here today. No fun.
Anytime Cristel…
I work in a pharmacy and talk to people as if I’m normal but inside I’m often panicking, wondering if they know what I go through. I’m grand most of the time but there are days when my thinking is so ahead of itself that I’m slowed up by it. A few months on antidepressants and low dose quetiepine as needed to settle me. At least we are trying to improve ourselves. That’s a lot to be thankful for.
By the way. It really does get easier… every day. I am way more positive place than I was before I started to fight my addictions… Mostly alcohol
I love train yards love looking at the graffiti roll by
@JasonFisher cracking photos Jason. I bet you see some amazing skies at night. I used to do a lot of night fishing at the coast and spent more time star gazing than fishing.
True…So long as we dont stay down thats what counts. I’m not going to let alcohol or any drug beat me. Hate the way it makes me feel. I feel as if I hurt those around me. I went from being super ambitious working 6 days a week, running 3 businesses to delegating the work to someone else and staying home 24/7. In a hermit. I feel insecure, shameful and unconfident most days, Something that isnt like me at all. But I’m not going to give up. I’ll find my drive again. The important thing is that we resist temptation and take it one day at a time.
We can do it!
It is my one of my favorite things about my job. I get to see amazing things. I wish i could film it all.
Ive been playing around with a gopro the last couple of days i rigged it to my hat. Im excited to see how it turns out
This is a cabazon. Its nick name is the poor mans lobster. Their diet consists mostly of crab. They are delicious.
Really cool fish. Hard fighters. They change color with their surroundings. This one is blueish. Hes been eating octopus too. Their dye makes their meat greenish blue. Delicious!
Gorgeous fish!!
Not exactly inspiring per say but I’ve gone out exploring in my new neighborhood and found some ponds I could sit by. Which is amazing for me because I am used to being walking distance to Lake Michigan. So while it’s not the same they are within a few minutes from my house and there is a HUGE library for anyone that knows me knows I will spend way to much time there and actually already applied for a job there just waiting for my ID switch before they can interview me.
Wow, what a great photo and story…keep taking these photos. Really cool!!
Caneel Bay, St. John, USVI. Decimated by the 2017 hurricanes, it has yet to reopen. Hopefully this year.
@Jim78 I remember going there as a kid on a school trip. I carried a huge lump of quartz to the top and back down again. I didn’t have the sense to just collect it on my way down.
We’re getting a soaking rain here, but it’s nice to listen to.
