Nice variety there Mandi!
Love that night time silhouette with the moon and ?Northern star.
Thanks. I was lucky. Taken through double glazing with a manual focus 85mm legacy lens then cropped… Might try cleaning the window and setting up a tripod with a longer lens as he’s been back twice now.
It is not honeysuckle or jasmine. Could be a wild fruit tree or a wild rose. Scented ones are rare. Likely to be a wild fruit. Keep the pics coming like a leaf so it helps me identify it. Also what happens after the flowers are gone. Is there any fruit or just was flowers. I love being the plant detective. Here is a likely bulb I came accros on my short walk. Never seen it before. Pic are as is. You can look at my pics on ig lulu_macro. It is an open account.
I’ll investigate further on your behalf inspector! Meanwhile, I have no idea what this one is and it also smells really nice. Is it obvious?
Now, this is the apple of my eye! Wisteria! Nice vine, lives long, gives fragrant flowers before any leaves, blooms again mid summer, not so vigorously, just a touch of color. You can train it any way. Even make a bonsai. There are other colors but this is the Chineese wisteria, most common. Look up some wisteria tunnels in Japan. Breathtaking. On my buckett list.
Here is some close by last week.
I think that’s going on my list to hike this year with the wifey. We both love it up there.
Absolutely man, it’s very quick easy hike. And it’s closer to Watertown for uguys
