Not sure that i have seen people in recovery get a bad rap. Addicts who ruin there life and don’t care and don’t wanna change sure but from what I’ve seen at least people who want to make a change are usually supported in that. Also a drug test isn’t going to show you if someone is in recovery just whether they have recently used.
@Jackwoulf I guess because I’m in SA, people might look at it differently. I know when I’ve told people… I’ve been treated differently

Nevermind just googled it. Honestly it just means your human and have normal humanistic desires that got out of hand. I know there is a lot of stigma in that area but i feel as though shaming someone who has that addiction is like shaming someone for being fat. We all have to eat and none of us are prefect. Sure some people may get carried away with it but that doesn’t mean there is anything wrong with them as a person. Overall the world can be very judgemental so i see where your coming from

Update im assuming i passed but idk although did get an email saying they were considering me for a position that pays a dollar more per hour and now have another interview on Monday.

That’s great news! A higher pay and a second interview are positive signs. I asked a friend who is on an interview panel, actively interviewing, and she said you’re likely in the top couple of candidates or they’ve singled you out for the role. When they contact your referees, you likely have the job. I’m cheering for you! You’ve got this.

Lol trust me its not like that at all. Its a call center they will hire just about anyone. Idk i could beqrong but that is wha I’ve been told by other people working in them. Also she had said that the training for the other position got moved back and thats why she was offering me the other role. Also i provided no references and by that i mean i was never asked for any. Just sent my resume through indeed and was basically hired after answering two questions can you pass a background and can you pass a drug test. Other than that they didn’t seem to care much
