That’s what I told them, basically :sparkling_heart:

I may have also said: traffic. Traffic is pretty much just a straight pride parade. :joy:

Last year my granddaughter and I were having one of those deep, rambling conversations two addicts in recovery can have and she dropped a bombshell on me. She told me she has suspected for years that I’m asexual. I scoffed. I researched. My jaw hit the floor. Finally an explanation of all I have felt and experienced. It fit to a T. I’ve gone to pride with her in support never realizing that in a way that was my family too. So happy pride month to all you beautiful people :rainbow::rainbow_flag:

That is pretty awesome!!

Ps… I love your Disney buttons in your profile pic. We have quite a collection from our years as annual passholders and very frequent visits!

Happy pride month everyone. As a sort of transmasc nonbinary Pan person still releasing myself from the internalized latent homophobia and unfortunately misogyny as well (from my upbringing), I’m here to say I appreciate you all and we’re all here together existing as true to ourselves as we can.
I struggle (for location and family reasons I’m working through) to present the way I love the thought of in my mind, but am making peace with where I exist in that journey right now.
My daughter already shows trappings of existing in the lgbtq+ spectrum and I’ve vocally supported her and defended her to my own mom. I’m happy to have this community and here’s to our wellbeing

Good on her. My generation. There’s been progress, but more progress has to be made. And there’s a fierce backlash too.

Very curious about the symbolism of your avatar Fargesia?

It’s the logo / symbol of the movement promoting male emancipation.

Cool :sunglasses:. Thank you. I have not seen that before. Or heard of it actually.

Probably because after 75 years of feminism, men finally also start to realise we should be part of the solution instead of part of the problem

The logo comes from the Dutch division, Emancipator.
Part of yhe international MenEngage Alliance.
