I have Complex PTSD from a series of traumas through out my life. The first traumatic experiences came from my family’s reaction to my sexuality/gender. I will say they are on a much lesser scale than the things I experienced later in life, but none the less… I was told things like, “We don’t have gay people in this family.” The church attempted to “pray the gay out of me.” If I was thought to have romantic feelings for someone I was no longer allowed to see them, and I lost my friendship with my best friend from birth because his mother did not approve of me anymore… Don’t get me started on conversion therapy and Ipecac… It all instilled a lot of guilt and self hatred very early on. 
I don’t know how much it contributed to my addiction, but it definitely didn’t do me any good.

Last night my partner and I worked a pride party at our friend’s salon. We’re vendors and sell homemade candles, rugs, and macrame planters. It was really fun to see and interact with new people in the community, and our friend had tons of sparkling waters on deck for us 
We made a bunch of new friends, and I even talked with a drag king who encouraged me to try drag! I’ve always had an interest in trying out drag, but it was really nice to speak with someone who was so enthusiastic and excited for others to join. My only concern is that I cannot do makeup to save my life and I don’t want to look terrible

Sounds super fun!! There are lots of YouTube videos I am sure for makeup. However, find a drag king or queen and ask their advice!! Or have them help. Hope you have a great day!

I’ve just been driving around a cool rainbow coloured electric car for a week. It’s the councils pride and inclusivity car which they got last year
It was actually really speedy

Thank you for posting! This is so important. I always wonder how genuine companies are when they fly the rainbow flag this month.
