Im quiting smoking along with drinking. Any low calorie food recommendations to get through the cigarette cravings? Gone over 24 hours but its not an easy task
Not a food, but when I quit smoking, I was all about sugar free Life Savers…they were very helpful.
Other suggestions…
Carrot sticks
Celery with cream cheese
Pretzel sticks
Apple slices with nut butter
I also suggest taking walks…fresh air, nature and movement are all so very helpful …not just in recovery, but always.
And good job on working toward a healthier you!!!
Sugar free gum is another suggestion. Keeps your mouth busy and some find the minty-ness might possible help with the sweet cravings.
I found some grapefruit seems to be helping

I quit smoking and drinking in one go too, wasn’t easy, but worth it!
Honestly, I ate whatever I wanted for the first few weeks, then after about a month I went on an added sugar free diet, so lots of fruit and veggies for snacks; Celery, apples, grapes, bananas, oranges, cucumber, nuts, seeds, etc.
