I hit the Chocolate + Ooey, Gooey, Midnight Fudge too.
Either that or it was going to be the M&Ms
At least the ice cream seemed healthier cuz it had coconut maple cacao avocado pine pollen and vanilla. Gluten and dairy free.
Oh my, that sounds yummy!!!
What RBG fought for was beyond political. In this program I was reminded what it means to be empathetic towards others. I feel that her mission, as you say, was equality and empathy for others let alone all! This amazing woman changed the USofA and stood up for equality around the globe. She will be greatly missed for her experiences, wisdom and compassion for human rights. Rest in Power RBG!
I just picked my phone and saw the news. I’m lying in bed crying. Can 2020 get any worse? RIP RBG. You were the champion for the marginalized in the US. We can never thank you enough for all that you accomplished.
I’m devastated
You could learn a lesson or several from RBG. First of all her friendship with Antonin Scalia, who had about as opposite of perspectives as possible on most things.
RBG inspired me to re-evaluate my views. Her opinions were always concise and we’ll written. I was pretty far along in my alcoholism in law school but she (and a few others, looking at you Learned Hand) always stuck out to me.
For those broad minded folks, an op ed piece by Antonin Scalia’s son Eugene on the friendship between Scalia and Ginsburg. Lessons for life.
Let’s just flood this thread with positive articles on RBG!
This has been derailed. Going to tidy it up a bit and then reopen. Please stay on topic which is Rest In Peace Justice Ginsburg.
Let’s try to keep this respectful please.
Thank you
For anyone who doesn’t have two small children at home, I believe there is a nationwide vigil at many courthouses in 10 minutes.
Thank you so much for all you do. So appreciated.
Yes, thank you for the reminder. Having dinner with Mom and Dad, but there in spirit.
I really hope they honor her memory and her final wishes not to be replaced before the election. She hasnt even been buried yet and they want to replace her. I find it disrespectful, politics aside. She was a really strong woman and worked all the way until she died.
