Yesterday was my birthday and my last day of drinking. I had a lot of fun with friends and nothing got out of control. I made a plan a month ago to start sober living 6/21. I honestly just don’t want to drink again. One day at a time. Stay stronger and sober my friends!

Today is the 1st official day of summer in the USA
My short term goal is to have a full summer without a substance

Awesome decision, it was the best choice I’ve ever made. There hasn’t been a day since I stopped drinking that I wasn’t able to sit back and be thankful for my sobriety.
Even my worst sober days have been better than the bad days when I was still drinking.

Today is my first day too (had many first day), i work from 5am to 1pm and after work i used to drink almost three beers and not sleep the full night , today is the first time i did not buy beers, Hope to continue the same tommorow.

Good luck and I hope everything works for you! It really is a better life, not everything is going to be easy, same problems will still pop up but you will learn how to deal with them properly. Daily prayer and meditation really keep me focused and on the right path……day 90 for me today
