Recycle pick up guy will think I died

Usually my recycle can is full of boxes and cans, this week I had one sad bag of flavored water bottles, lol

That’s hilarious! Interesting perspective. Being able to remember life is priceless, so much better than all the bad stuff drinking poison does to you and the ones you care about.

You put them in your own recycle bin? Mine went in a strangers bin, a public bin or the one at work.

I laughed out loud at the title of this post. The recycle pick up guy probably thinks my neighbors two houses up have died; I used to sneak my bottles up to their can in the middle of the night!

Mine went in to public bins, I still have a little cringe when I walk past them!

Hilarious!!!

I’m pretty sure the homless people in my neighborhood were really upset when I quit drinking. We used to throw ragers after the bar almost every night.

In beggining I had guylty thoughts not filling it up full. As it was lasting me only half way and then had to find else where to dispose of it. I used to put it all in Tesco recycling place every few weeks 2-3am…

And that sound of your bin being emptied all street was able to hear it

Lol. Drunk and high shopping. 1 part what you need, 2 parts what you dont need.

It was the main thing of shopping rest irrelevant.

I even managed to switch shops every day was even traveling further so nobody would clock what quantities dayly I was getting and was very stealthy to take it from car to house as my house has no garage.

For me it was only one trip of shame every few weeks with boxes of it to get rid off empty bottless/ cans.

I had full military spy stealthy operation going on.
Switching shops, not visiting same brand two days in a row, different times evening/ morning, some days buying it now bulk some just to last one day, especially weekend time was able to buy a lot as everybody had parties.

Had one laisy moment was buying in my corner chop for few weeks, I even was getting discount for it

Oh my goodness it’s so funny reading this when you’ve got double digits under your belt, laughing at ourselves for actually acting f***ing insane in the first place but also has a serious note too as to how bad it can actually get

Especialy when most write same stuff and you thought that you were alone who does that and laugh when you remember doing same thing.

Most interesting thing there is so many of us, but most invisible…

I guess this is similar to taking 100 needles back a week to the syringe exchange lol. They don’t think I’m dead bc I work there now. I’m actually thinking about applying for the program director position!

Haha. My cousin caught the Recycle pick up guy taking a picture of his blue box. I guess his buddy’s at the recycling depot didn’t believe him that every week it was FULL of beer cans and whiskey bottles. Lol.
