Today I earned the Regular Member Badge status for our website/forum. It may sound silly to some, but I’m very proud to now have that status along with 14 other people that share this safe place.
This place and the people within have been crucial in my early success in this recovery journey that I’m on. I’ve turned to this forum for advice, comfort, and comradery every day I’ve been sober which is now 49 days.
It feels so good to be here with those that are striving to beat addiction and live better lives. To receive input/advice and to sometimes give the same is huge. To think I’ve helped people here in any way means so much to me. Just a few days ago I was ready to fall and folks here helped me make the right decision… to stay on the path of recovery and for that I’m truly grateful!
