Get back on track, fuck yesterday’s stumble you can’t take it back. None of us can. No need to beat ourselves up on shit we can’t change.

Dig in and start again and work a better program, it’s the only way we survive. Hugs to ya!

You laid the track - it’s there!! You can get back to it - you can make that choice for yourself, and you know what it takes

Write down on a piecie of paper how you feel right now, every small detail of it.
The depression, guilt, shame, nauseous, black out, headache, you name it…
When your addiction voice tries to convince you next time you can have one, read that paper.
It helped me to get a longer stretch of days. It is one of many tips and “tricks” I read here on this forum.
Sober for a long time now, you can do that too!

You can’t change what has happened. All you can do is learn from it and start again. Think back at what led up to that relapse and put a plan in place so that when it happens you make a different choice. Recovery is more than just “not using” but learning why we used and how to make different choices.

YOU CAN DO IT!!

Some people quit and never look back. Some people take part in the roller-coaster of pain in the addiction circus. You had 15 days. The best thing you can do for yourself is to feel proud of those 15 days, and examine (without moral judgement) your thoughts and feelings which led up to your use. See if you can pinpoint what they were and where they came from especially since you don’t “know even how or why” you gave in so easily. Learning “how” and “why” will be of unfathomable value. You can use this in your future endeavors as you move toward long-term success.

Remember that some of the most successful people in life have failed an enormous number of times previous to that success. You cannot change the past. It has been written into your story. You can use those things to create the future you want.

Hang in there. Keep going. You can do this.
