I’m sorry to hear about your relapse. I don’t really have much useful advice to give you, other than a question… what made you cave in? Once you figure out the trigger, maybe you can think of better ways to cope with the situation before this happens. Next time you can have a solid plan. Also, I just wanted to say I appreciate your Padfoot and Prongs name over here… huge Harry Potter nerd!

What program are you working?

What do you mean?

Have you tried putting a block on websites? You can actually block “adult” sites that require a password and just make your password a jumble of letters and numbers you can’t figure out. That way if you get tempted again, you won’t actually be able to pull up any porn or Google images.
I’m sorry you relapsed. My drug of choice is alcohol but if there’s anything I’ve learned in the bazillion relapses I’ve had, it’s that you’ve gotta pick yourself up and immediately be proactive. If you are truly serious about abstaining from porn, you’ve gotta set yourself up for success.

As addicts we can’t control ourselves, at least I couldn’t, that’s why the 12 stops focus on turning will over to a higher power. If you’re not already look into a group like SLAA (that’s the group I belong to) SAA, SA…
learn from this relapse then plan for what to do the next time those same things happen.

Yes I know, but, these porn blocking surfing apps require us to double check out passwords and also they are by passable easily

To achieve sobriety in any form, I’m convinced that the vast majority need to work some sort of a program. That does not mean that you need to go to Sexaholics Anonymous or something like that, though it would probably help a lot. It does mean that you need to have something you’re doing every day to focus on sobriety, something that gives you support when you’re considering relapse.

Nothing will stop you from feeding your addiction, except you. This is a fundamental truth. That said, filter apps, meetings, having an accountability partner, these are tools that can help you.

You say that the blockers are easily by-passable. True, but you have to intentionally bypass them to feed your addiction. This gives you a chance to think about it, get ahold of yourself.

If you are determined to quit, make it as difficult as you can to get to your DOC. Get as much support as you can. There’s a reason why there are guardrails on the sides of the road.

Day 1 for me and I relapsed in the same shit.
Hey man! Get up , shake the dust from your shoulders and don’t try to fight alone. My hand is open for you. Have you ever try the app Fortify?
