What a great lady, funny and sweet to the end.
holy shit… Sad way to end the year.
But damn, 99. No one can say she didn’t live a long, interesting and eventful life
I started crying when I read this. I love Betty White. Her philosophy on life and how she could always make people smile. I know there is a special place reserved for her, hopefully with her husband Allen I’ll miss you Betty
Had to google it, just to be sure. Makes me sad
I love that little story on her, thanks for it. Ill miss her too.
She would always say something about wanting Robert Redford; it would be cool if he said something!
I did too; just this morning I saw on the news something about her 100th…
Used to watch Golden Girls with my Nana as a kid, and I still regularly watch it to this day. Rest in peace!
We are reading it right now.
Kelly just read
Ed Asner
Chloris Leachman
And now Betty White all died this year.
God Bless them.
And us for all the joy they gave us.
Why is B White so perfect?! I love when she flicks off Ryan while getting comforted. She is a national treasure
Oh my heart
Anyone left from Mary Tyler Moore show…one of the most hilarious shows ever.
Betty White was mis attributed to saying one of my very favorite quotes about growing a set. I could see her saying it as Sue Ann Nivens for sure, but she didn’t.
Regardless, she was a comedic genius and apparently a very kind human. She touched so many lives thru her work.
When Betty White asks for coffee you get her coffee. It would be an honor.
Who else was there in the MTM show? There was Larry, her workmate. And the male anchor who was a goof ball. I don’t know their names of it they’re still alive.
Betty was the last surviving member of the cast. Truly an iconic show.
Murray…Gavin McLeod
Lou…Ed Asner
The white haired guy was Ted…Ted Knight
Sue Ann…Betty White
Mary Richards…MTM
Georgette…Georgia Engle
And of course Rhoda (Valerie Harper) and Phyllis (Cloris Leachman)
Man, the Chuckles the Clown episode was maybe the best episode ever.
Betty was pure magic in that show.
My fave
gosh, a legend has left
Thanks for posting, I admired her RIP
My coworker told me about this I was like wait, the internet didn’t kill her right?
Nope confirmed,
We lost John Madden and Betty White in the same week,
She was the last of the golden girls as well.
