Our goal at Talking Sober is sobriety, support and community. To further achieve our shared goals, we believe it is time to update the rules regarding selfies and photos so there is no ambiguity or gray area.
This rule change will apply to all selfies, memes and photos going forward from today.
Rule # 6 is updated as follows…
- Do not post sexually explicit material (no visible nipples and/or genitalia).
Visible coverage tops/shirts and bottoms are required in all selfies, memes and photos, regardless of gender. Please do not post photos in swimwear regardless of gender.
We hope and trust that the expansion of the rules will clear up any and all confusion regarding acceptable selfies and photos, and that we can move beyond this issue and continue to foster a safe and healing environment for all of our community members.
